People's Theatre is proud to present its stage adaptation of Disney's My Son Pinocchio Jr. This classic Disney story is told from the perspective of toymaker Geppetto, who embarks on a journey beyond the toy shop to discover the true meaning of family.  The story is filled with magic, suspense, fun, and excitement. Pinocchio, the little wooden puppet who is brought to life by the Blue Fairy, must prove that he is brave, honest, and unselfish before he can become a real boy. 

The show features many timeless songs, including the beloved classics "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "I've Got No Strings" by Stephen Schwartz, Oscar and Grammy award-winning master melodist. The story tackles timely issues about what it means to be "the perfect child" and what it means to be "a real father".
