A local favourite with a prime-time talk show already under his belt, comedian Conrad Kock and his puppet Chester Missing have built a devoted following for his witty observations, comedic ventriloquism and acidic satirical commentary on South African and global politics. In their latest offering, Puppet Guy, Conrad and Chester have switched the script with some new zany puppets joining the show, including an ostrich made from a slipper,  and some lighter topics toning down the usually overtly political content.  As Conrad explains “I wanted to have fun with ventriloquism. We still keep it relevant and topical, but it is a good change of pace.”
