This intimate new exhibition at Everard Read sees Cape Town based artist Brett Charles Seiler invite the viewer into his life and apartment.

Seiler has constructed a staged room in Everard Read's CIRCA Gallery space to show his paintings and inner world. Through considered experimentations with line, colour and material Seiler's paintings depict his observations and inner ruminations as he explores the male body, queer history, love and alienation. As the figures swim between spaces and times you begin to feel like you are the one witnessing or sharing these painted moments.
