A good-looking youthful hangout in the heart of Greenside's main strip, this colourful bar comes decked out in neon-bright colours that are made to be Instagrammed. Spread over two floors with windows opening out onto the street, the space is bright and airy and the upbeat mood is complemented by tunes from an in-house DJ.

While Altar Bar describes itself as a 'cocktail and tapas bar', much of the menu is dedicated to meals for one, as opposed to small plates for sharing, including plenty of pizzas and burgers. Similarly, reflecting studenty tastes there are a host 'signature cocktail jugs' on offer too.
