A festive performance by the acclaimed 18-piece Johannesburg Big Band, led by Adam Howard, lights up Carnival City with A Swingin' Christmas. Lovers of musical ensembles are in for a treat. Look forward to South African classics and instantly recognisable holiday favourites.

With just four shows, this pre-Christmas concert ushers in the spirit of the season – with a local twist. Enjoy special guest performances by Kurt Darren, Zwai Bala, Harry Sideropoulos, Monique Steyn, as well as the renowned Mzansi Youth Choir. From toe-tapping rhythms to jazz classics and plenty of festive cheer, it's a feel-good musical spectacular for the whole family. Those who remember last year's Swingle Bells concert and the more recent Swinging Las Vegas that had audiences in raptures, both conducted by Howard, know this is not to be missed.

Expect a spectacular stage, big beautiful voices, and a fabulous band. There are two shows each day for A Swinging Christmas on Sat, Dec 14 and Sun, Dec 15 at 12:00 and 16:00 at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City. With Mon, Dec 16 being a public holiday, it's the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with friends and family.
