An amazing building found between the old town and the shipyards close to the Polish Post Office building, this WWII bunker is remarkable because not only is it still standing intact, but it’s possible, and perfectly safe, to take a look around. This 8-storey re-enforced concrete block was built around 1942-43 specifically for shipyard workers and military personnel - its name referring to ‘Luftschutzbunker’ and the number of personnel it could hold. Having previously been used as a climbing wall the place is now Klubogaleria Bunkier. The club opens at 4 and the bar staff are perfectly happy for you to take a walk around to have a look at what they’ve done with it
