Standing in the centre of Długi Targ in Gdańsk Old Town, this 17-meter high choinka (ENG: Christmas Tree) is as beautiful as every other year and convincingly-realistic (it's artificial, so it will have saved a real-life one in the forest!). From Monday, December 5th, the tree - erected by Gdańsk Road and Greenery Authority workers - will be powered up, marking the official stsrt of the Christmas holidays in Gdańsk. With 25,000 LED lamps, 1,400 baubles and snowflakes, you can see this tree aglow until early February 2023.
