Twice a year (on the first Wednesday and Thursday in June and then again on the first Wednesday in October), residents from the rural areas surrounding Celje come to town in order to promote traditional farming methods and the products they produce. The programme also includes workshops on healthy living, as well as presentations and performances showcasing the cultural heritage of rural areas. This year's events will take place on 2-3 June and 6 October, at the central market.
