Cardiff Bay is one of our favourite parts of the city, and the area’s wetlands reserve has a lot to do with that. The pondy pearler covers about eight hectares and is home to a whole host of life, from graceful birds to weird little insects, not to mention a lot of special flora that helps to maintain the aforementioned beasts. There is a boardwalk that heads out into the pond, offering delightful views of nature at work.
