Mint at TAJ hotel Cape Town is one of the few eateries along the atmospheric St George’s Mall strip in Cape Town CBD.
The interiors are understated and intimate with a range of table seating indoors while outdoor seating spills along the walking lane. Mint revamped their outdoor space with a green plant wall for added privacy perfect for breakfast, brunch, or evening meetups. The all-day restaurant is headed by Executive Chef David Tilly and specialises in comfort food with an international, cosmopolitan edge. Think salt and pepper squid drizzled with tobajan (chili bean) sauce and lime, risotto cooked in white wine with chargrilled cauliflower, roma tomatoes, and peas; and, a decadent, moist date pudding with classic Creme Anglaise.  
A fair amount of vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. For drinks, the team is ready to whip up a selection of signature and classic cocktails with their own twist. Start off on a stylish note with a Peach Bellini which comes with freshly crushed peach and top-notch bubbly.
