For stunning unobstructed views of the bay and town of Saint Tropez, the Cap Camarat Lighthouse is the ideal place to visit. Standing at 130 metres tall and as one of the highest lighthouse in France, the monument is deservedly much loved and respected. At the bottom, there is Bonnes Terrasse, a beach that is perfect for swimming. The appearance of the lighthouse now is the result of the preservation efforts by the government after it was bombed in 1944. The area is also known as the place where Napoleon built his defences.
