This pierogi-obsessed franchise boasts not only a wide selection of the beloved Polish dish but also wonderful waterfront views of the Brda River and Mill Island. Turn your head the other way and you'll be greeted by a very literal folksy interior, which slides into kitsch here and there; but this appears to be the standard with restaurants offering traditional Polish fare. Try the full range of pierogi-cooking styles: traditional-boiled (Lepiochy), baked (Piecuchy) and fried (Czeburki Kresowe). However, if dumplings aren't your thing, you'll also find soups, crescent rolls, pies, salads, desserts, cakes, pastries and many more on the Stary Młyn menu, all certified by the so-called 'Grandma's Certificate', which we are sure must be authentic!
