The Peasant Museum in Piata Victoriei is this weekend holding one of its regular traditional craft fairs. This weekend's is dedicated to St. Mary, celebrated on Monday (a Bank Holiday in Romania). <br /> <br /> As with all of the fairs at the museum (held in the courtyard behind the museum) there will be a huge range of locally made gifts and crafts, usually sold by the very people who made them. Look out too for antiques, as well as great local food.<br /> <br /> Finally, do not be put off by the fact that the musuem is currently covered in scaffolding (the facade is being renovated). It is open for business as usual.
