The Piccolo Mondo has long been recognised as the home of Bucharest's best Middle-Eastern food (try getting a table on the terrace when the weather is good if you do not believe us), and now also offers a hotel (directly above the restaurant in the same building). Good, well-appointed four-star rooms, and (more importantly in this town perhaps) a location in a more quiet area of the capital, usually ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Good breakfast included in the price.
Piccolo Mondo is my favorite restaurant full stop! i used to visit Bucharest frequently and though i haven't been for a few years I always remember the fantastic Lebanese food here.Everything was always fresh and well cooked, the bread amazing, the service perfect. When I was there the decor was basic, but this didn't matter. It is the food and the atmosphere that matters.I hope to go back one day and I will try the hotel too.
