You could quite literally throw a stone from the rooms here into Cismigiu Park (though we do not recommend it), and as such we think this is a great place for families with children to stay when visiting the capital. Not cheap, we think that you get value for money, especially given the size of the rooms and the terrific breakfast spread they lay on every morning for guests. Staff happy and smiley too.
One of the greatest hotels in this city. And just another proof that "greatest" must not necessarily mean 5* properties. Together with the Venezia (IYP, when shall we also see a listing of that great place?) and the Capsa (IYP?), this place means Something in Bucharest. A great atmosphere, cosy rooms, a fine breakfast area and a quiet bar for those rainy evenings, as well as staff that really cares (for a welcome change, huh). No restaurant indeed, but Vatra (a.k.a. The Institution) is just 2 minutes away. The Royal Palace lies at a 5 minute walk, and so does Cismigiu.
