"Grimus" is an (approximate) anagram of "simurgh" - a gigantic bird featured in Persian mythology. It seems appropriate, seeing as Grimus have become one of the best known Romanian alternative rock bands, having performed with the likes of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Motorhead, Placebo and the Prodigy.
