There is a string of restaurants along the northern side of Herastrau Lake (all of which, strangely, share the same address: Sos. Nordului 7-9). This place is, in our opinion, the best of them. A fine range of Mediterranean food, with one of the best selections of fish and seafood in the city. The vibe is fashionable yet very casual, and attracts a crowd of both young and old who have had enough of the dust and crowds of the city centre. Top cocktails and wine list, and while the prices are by no means cheap, the high quality is well worth the extra: value for money guaranteed. Well worth your time.
