A must-see for Magritte fans! Being one of the most famous Belgian personalities, surrealist painter René Magritte worked for nearly 24 years in the house that shows today the development of his art through the decades. Not to be confused with the Magritte Museum, which is in the Fine Arts Museum, the atmosphere of Belgium can be felt thought the floors of this villa, which has been opened to the public since 1999. On the ground floor, you can visit René's apartment, while on the other two floors, you can enjoy a biographical exhibition along with reading his quirky quotes. Unfortunately, his well knows paintings are not to be found in this museum, but as a die-hard fan you will not be disappointed with what you'll find here.
