Bratislava’s Grassalkovich Palace is an 18th-century Rococo-style building that is worth its palatial moniker, a graceful complex that once played host to vibrant social events attended by the finest folk in town. Since 1996 it has served as the seat of the President, guaranteeing the continuation of its national importance. Built for a Croatian aristocrat, the stories that emanate from the palace are seemingly endless, and its famous gardens are also now a public park.
