Moses Sofer was one of the most influential Jewish Rabbis in 19th century Europe, and his remains are found in Bratislava memorial that takes his name. This was the site of the old Jewish Cemetery, a graveyard that was destroyed during World War II. A tiny piece survived however, and a memorial was erected in 2002. Access is only available by contacting the Jewish community at least 48 hours before visiting, and dress restrictions are strict to say the least.
