When the Lafranconi Bridge opened in 1990 it did so with traffic in mind, not adrenaline junkies hurling themselves off it. Bungee jumping off the bridge has fast become a popular summertime activity for the brave and/or foolish, although the 25 metre drop is far from the highest in the world. That prize is taken by Macau Tower and its 233 fall, but its best not to think about that.
