Another collection of ruins in the hills of the Una National Park, the remaining rocks and stones of Havala tell their own special story. Most likely built in the 17th century by Sultan Ahmed III, Havala was a strategically important location in an area full of the things, which goes a long way to explaining its current state of destruction and disrepair. The tombstone of Smail-beg Kulenović is found nearby, the final resting place of a local leader who lost a fight with an outlaw. The ruins of Havala are a 10-minute or so walk from Kulen Vakuf.
