Housed in an old railway warehouse dating back to the beginning of the 1900s and commonly known as la Piccola (the little one, in Italian), the museum is dedicated to the triangular Latin-rig sailing boats which kept the local economy going until the mid-20th century. They show its thousand year old history along with a traditional fishing boat (filuga), nautical tools and instruments, fishing nets, old utensils and machines from the city dockyards.
