Kunuku Resort is nestled between the busy streets of Willemstad and the peaceful beaches of the far western side of Curacao. 24 spacious apartments surround a central swimming pool, which also attracts heaps of day trippers who make the pilgrimage to its fun water slide. The rooms are basic, but all are equipped with a comfy sofa bed and all the modern amenities you expect from a relatively new complex built in 2011. Kunuku, which means countryside landscape in the local language, offers good security and plenty of parking, but its biggest asset in our estimation is the large terrace, which offers beautiful views, especially at sunset. Children’s entertainment and babysitting services are available in the high season, but you'll probably need to hire a car to get here as it's pretty far from civilisation.
