As guide book writers we've visited dozens of Hard Rock Cafes around the globe over the years and we have to say that this is one of the worst we've encountered. Not only are the food and drinks incredibly overpriced, but the slow and impersonal service is way below par, especially for a corporate, international joint like this. In fact, hamburgers cost 18 times less at the golden arches across the street! Inside you’ll find the usual rock memorabilia such as a hat worn by one of the members of U2, a leather belt used by Jimi Hendrix and, our favourite, a gold body suit that Shakira once squeezed into. But even these wonderful collectors' items weren't enough to remove the sour taste of an exorbitantly priced meal. The giant terrace is great for people watching, but unfortunately the peaceful setting is often marred by bands who will never see their clothing on the walls of a Hard Rock Cafe.
