On the far eastern side of the island, a half hour drive from the busy hotel district, you'll find this little hidden gem. It's an excellent spot for snorkelling, especially the southernmost entrance to the lagoon, where you feel like you're inside a big aquarium. You'll have to wade a long way out and beware of the strong currents where the sea begins. Only limited food and drink are available, so bring your own refreshments if you're picky. If you appreciate topless sunbathing this is your best bet on the island, but bring plenty of sunscreen as there isn't much natural shade here. The only turn-off is the view of the oil refinery in the distance.
