Multiplex cinemas are big business, although the smaller, older independents survive on their quirky, less Hollywood-dictated programmes and cheaper tickets. Czech and other non-English language films are not usually subtitled in English, but we do have access to more titles now. English language films are usually subtitled, except kids' films which are dubbed.
