In a world of babysitting and hand-holding, there is a lot to love about naive art. The work of self-trained artists plays a significant role in Croatian artistic history, and this brilliant exhibition is a journey in itself, where each image influences and informs the next. Nataša Jovičić is the creative mind behind this fabulous showcase.

Picelj: On the Other Side of the Oeuvre
Ivan Picelj was a hugely influential 20th-century painter and sculptor, but his work and impact weren’t confined to those mediums. The Okučani-born artist was a prodigious graphic designer who created many magnificent posters, highlighting the curious position posters play in art and society. Few forms are faced with the dual purpose of being visually striking while also conveying concrete information, but it was a form that Picelj perfected. As the name suggests, this is the lesser-known side of his oeuvre, but it is equally fabulous.
