One hundred years ago the first exhibition of art of the Polish Legions opened in Kraków (just two years after this military force was established); seems like it's just about time to revisit the subject. The Polish Legions were formed after the outbreak of WWI, and were the first active Polish army in generations. The works on display will include scenes of marching and fighting, heroic portraits of Piłsudski, military portraits of the artists themselves, and some WWI memorabilia.
