It is literally the southwestern pinpoint of the island. Located 75 km away from Chania, Elafonissi Beach is absolutely amazing but undoubtedly challenging to reach driving on mountains roads. It might take about two hours to reach from the city, but once you are there, you will be dazzled by the magnificent colours of the place. The sea is shallow and suitable for small children. It will be a smart move to stay for one night (even bringing a tent with you) to avoid the shaking of the road twice the same day.
