Located in the very north of the gorgeous island of Pag, in the Novalja area, the Lunj Olive Grove stretches over 24 acres and has been intact for centuries making it a true rarity in its own right. There are natural wild olive trees called Olea oleaster linea with more than 80,000 altogether, out of which 1,500 are 1200 years old on average and the oldest is 1600 years old. The Lunj Olive Grove is unique in the world because of the large numbers of old wild olive trees that have remained together for thousands of years. A real gem in Croatia’s proud heritage!
