Graphic artist Jerzy Werszler created one of the most famous neons signs in the country when he combined the animated image of a sneaking burglar with the PZU ad slogan "Insure your flat with PZU" in 1975. The iconic bandana-wearing bandit has been delighting Wrocław residents in the northwest corner of Plac Kościuszki ever since; good luck trying to take his photo, however.
