Some classical music compositions are so popular and recognisable that they are well known to people unfamiliar with classical music. The Four Seasons, composed in 1723, is one of Baroque legend Antonio Vivaldi's most famous works for violin. Despite their close association with descriptive sonnets, the concerti can be appreciated for their inventiveness and virtuosity without any knowledge of their programs. The new arrangement by Max Richter, titled "Four Seasons Recomposed", is still perfectly recognisable, but Richter subtly changed the rhythm, dynamics and cast, introducing an element of surprise. The listener hears something that is well known, but in reality, it is something completely new. Together with the Vivaldi's Four Seasons, an audience will hear the most beautiful Polish carols.
