When most theaters, concert halls and other cultural venues in Wroclaw are taking a seasonal rest, the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival appears taking its listeners on a musical journey. And a journey through Wroclaw as well as the festival is not confined to a closed location but will "travel" around Wroclaw. Festival Vertigo is an attempt to present jazz music to a wider audience promoting both great Wroclaw musicians as well as interesting places in the city. The music will appear on beaches, rooftops, transportation, hotels and parks. Additionally, weekly concerts will also be held at the Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant and on the Dali Island in Wroclaw. This year's festival, the sixth edition, will last for 31 days and will consist of almost 40 concerts. So get ready to explore the music and the city and immerse yourself in both.
