Though rebuilt after the war, this former Dominican convent dates back to the early 14th century and was previously the site of a very upscale restaurant - a fact which hints at the 'wow' factor of its interior. Full of gorgeous architectural details and high arching ceilings, it's a bit like dining in a cathedral, but don't be mistaken - you won't be cloistered off from society here. Aimed at Wrocław's student population, there's an eclectic concert schedule with live music three nights a week on average in the gothic cellars (check their FB page for details), and a large year-round beer garden. On top of that, the full menu of European eats is quite good and the beer selection is great. If you're really pinching pennies, the attached Bistro Nowy Targ is super cheap. Worth investigating for eats, drinks, and hijinks.
