Jewish culture festivals abound in Poland, and SIMCHA is Wrocław's annual event aiming to show the beauty and tradition of the city's Jewish heritage. For a full week the festival features international shows, concerts, workshops, art exhibits and dancing, with events catering to all ages. One of the highlights is the Jewish street market (Jarmark Żydowski), and the Friday evening open service to welcome the Sabbath, followed by the traditional Sabbath supper.
