Art and technology intertwine at this immersive exhibit celebrating the paintings of Austrian Art Nouveau master Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). Comprised of several parts, visitors will first see a timeline of the artist's life and work, with 12 exacting 1:1 copies of his most famous paintings. Next, in the VR Zone, special headsets allow you to immerse yourself 360 degrees into his lavish, ornamental compositions. Lastly, take the headsets off and walk through rooms covered floor to ceiling in digital projections of his work. Over 300 of the artist's works are presented, accompanied by voice-over narration and music by award-winning Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner. After successul stints in other European cities, the dynamic exhibit will be in Wrocław's IASE Hall until February 23rd.
