Trilok Gurtu found fame in connecting traditional Indian music with jazz. With an emphasis on percussion instruments the beats of this band effortlessly blend traditional Indian instruments with modern percussion instruments. This band has cooperated with some of the world’s greatest musicians, like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton or REM - - further solidifying this band’s status as an avant-garde project to be considered. This concert will take place September 28th in the Gothic Hall of the Old Monastery.
