Cooky and futuristic enough to be featured in the 1978 Polish-Soviet sci-fi flick Inquest of Pilot Pirx (based on Stanisław Lem’s Tales of Pilot Pirx), the Dolmed building is closest in shape to the base of an inverted pyramid. Designed by the architect couple Anna Tarnawska and Jerzy Tarnawski, this medical centre was built in the years 1974-1977 just past the Contemporary Museum.
