The exhibition is the third installment of the "Callart" series this time touching on the issue of image and painting. The art display was inspired by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, but also Anne Friedberg's publication Virtual Window dealing with pre-digital historic virtual art. The works on display include selected works from the collections of the Wrocław Contemporary Museum and the Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. This latest installment of Callart is divided into several thematic sections. Viewers will be exposed to the history of images and their meaning and contexts in the 'Entangled in Tradition' section, experience the journey of the image through various media from painting to digital art and AI works in the 'From Real Image to AI' section, and reflect on the problem of the overproduction of images and the mechanization of the creative process in 'What's Next?'.
