One of the main attractions of the Temple of Divine Providence - a national religious centre in Wilanów that includes the Pantheon of Great Poles - this modern, multimedia museum is dedicated to the two famous figures in its title, telling the story of their lives and legacies against the context of the century in which they lived. Located on the 8th floor of the unique ring surrounding the temple's dome, the 2000m2 exhibit begins in 1901 with the birth of Stefan Wyszyński, and ends in 2005 with the death of Karol Wojtyła, better known as Pope John Paul II. As it proceeds chronologically through 11 thematic sections, the museum demonstrates the enormous influence both men had on preserving the Catholic faith as part of the national and cultural identity of Poland, and how instrumental they were in the overthrow of communism in Poland.
