Once a regular site across post-war Poland, Cepelia in Łódź is one of the last remaining shopfronts of a nationwide artisan collective that deals exclusively in original Polish handicrafts. This particular one has been operating at Piotrkowska 97 since 1992 and is a great option for those looking to scoop up a genuine souvenir without having to accept a cheap-and-tacky alternative. Amongst the range of high-quality products that are sourced from all over Poland, you will also find ceramics from the famed producer Bolesławiec, porcelain from Opole, glasses, vases and bowls made of Polish Crystal, wooden sculptures, Polish tablecloths, linen napkins and woollen blankets. For the less-committed shopper, of course, you can settle on a magnet, key chain, mug, notebook, or calendar, though you are encouraged to make a purchase that you won't regret!
