About the artist
Andrey Gugnin is a graduate of Professor Vera Gornostajeva's class. Winner of the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition in Salt Lake City (USA, 2014, gold medal and audience award), winner of the S. Stančič Competition in Zagreb (Croatia, 2011) and L. van Beethoven in Vienna (Austria, 2013). in 2016 Andrey Gugnin triumphed at the International Piano Competition in Sydney, where he was awarded first prize and several special awards. Soon, in 2017 at the beginning of the year, the artist made his debut in Lithuania - his performance at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, at the festival "Orthodox Christmas in Lithuania" remained in the hearts of delighted listeners for a long time. Performed with London Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, Maria's Theater, Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra, Salzburg camera and others. Collaborates with famous conductors - Daniil Raiskin, Louis Langre, Reinbert de Lew, Aleksandr Sladkovskij, J. Van Zveden, Dimitris Botinis, Stanislav Kochanovskij. Performs in more than 30 countries, plays in the most famous halls: Carnegie Hall in New York, Royal Festival Hall in London, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Golden Musikverein in Vienna, Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, Great Hall of P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Maria Theater Hall in St. Petersburg, Sydney Opera House , the Louvre Concert Hall in Paris. The artist is a participant of Verbier Festival in Switzerland, Ruhr in Germany, Ohrid Summer in Macedonia, Dubrovnik Summer Festival in Croatia, Malta, Aberdeen (Scotland), Bermuda and many others.
The pianist is represented by the prestigious IMG artists agency in London.
