The quintessential Lithuanian mixed bag accommodation option, by all accounts the people who work here are a charming bunch and the rooms are all perfectly fine for the price, even if one of two of them are a very strange shape. Close to the bus and train stations in a slightly lugubrious part of town, pitfalls include a lack of places to eat in the immediate area.

Stayed there for three night at the beginning of this month. It's basic but very cozy staff are great. It has a hostel vibe but it didn't bother me because it really is so home-like. Room with two beds was quite small. The beds are on different sides of the room. Didn't have breakfast it costs extra. The location is not very central actually the area is a bit worn-out and my boyfriend was pretty sure a girl who came to ask him for a cigarette just outside the hotel was a prostitute. The city centre and the main street Gedimino is pretty far away. Then again it's a short walk to the other end of the old town main street. And there's a Maxima supermarket just around the corner. It's a great budget hotel and I liked it there but probably would not stay there again. I still believe this is a great choice when looking for a cheaper place to stay in.PLUS we traveled with a german shepherd and they were just fine with it.
