The Venice Hilton’s flagship restaurant Aromi goes a long way towards proving that the south of the country doesn’t have a monopoly on quality Mediterranean food. Open from April until October, diners have a choice of either the interior dining room or the panoramic terrace - the latter is quite obviously the better choice, affording guests magnificent views of the Giudecca canal and Venice's skyline. Sure, the prices are typical of the Hilton name, but the sophisticated setting makes you feel like you're at least getting your money's worth.
