Large city centre park offering a recreation area that’s well worth a visit any time of the year. The park is beautifully landscaped with walking paths, maze, fountain plus a newly installed community garden. The park is also used to host outdoor concerts and other cultural events. Come winter a 20 x 40 metre ice rink appears where you can enjoy skating and ice hockey. There’s also a station where you can pick up or drop off one of the rental bicycles from the BICY system. There’s 16 stations in and around Velenje so these are a great way of zipping around the town.
