A poignant memorial that sits directly on the border with Serbia, this chapel is best visited by leaving your car at the border crossing and then walking up. It is well worth the effort, as you’ll come across a small cemetery that surrounds a crypt, a mausoleum honouring the soldiers who died in this area in World War I. It is possible to have a look inside the crypt, but that requires prior planning and a little bit of luck.
