Višegrad

The 16th-century stone bridge over the Drina, built by Mimar Sinan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, gave Ivo Andrić's Nobel Prize-winning novel its name. The town is modest, the canyon scenery is not, and the bridge is as elegant as advertised.
