A red house. Doesn’t sound so exciting, right? Well, as far as red houses go, this is one of the best in the heart of Europe. One of the principality’s great attractions, this medieval piece of adorable architecture has been developed greatly over the last century and a bit, adding new details to its memorable facade. Built in 1338, the house is home to some seriously impressive gabled stairs and an easily-recognisable tower, the latter of which was added at the beginning of the 20th century. You can’t go inside (this is a house after all), but a walk to Mitteldorf and a couple of photos of the building are practically mandatory.
