It doesn’t get much more thrilling than this. The postal history of Liechtenstein is far more interesting than you might presume, and that history is lovingly detailed at this museum in the heart of Vaduz. A mass of postage stamps from the years of Liechtenstein’s post are displayed, along with a number of machines and educational tidbits telling the tale of post in this part of the world. The museum opened in 1930, just 10 years after Liechtenstein gained its postal independence, which says something about the confidence of this place.
